BYOH – Bring Your Own Horse.......... Ride Route: Three mile course up and down scenic Sandbridge beach. Mounted Police demonstrations and sensory challenge course....

----Neigh Days is a benefit event to raise money for Diamonds in the Rough Equine Rescue 501 (c)(3).
Proceeds will allow Diamonds in the Rough to help the current horses and horses yet to arrive.
Please join our volunteers in a day of family fun, helpful clinics, demos, food, vendors,silent auction, raffles, entertainment, and more.
Come meet the rescues, tour the facility, and maybe even adopt one of the "diamonds in the rough".

The Amelia Springs Trail Ride offers fun for all ages. We have trails for both experienced and inexperienced riders. All trails are marked, however some trails are longer than others. The trails come as short and medium/long, and are marked as so. There are wash stations ...available for the horses and outdoor showers available for people. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on leashes. Please NO dogs on trails! And also please NO stallions! There are two trail rides every year, one in the Spring and the other in the Fall. Our trails offer a variety of terrain including creek, pasture, woods and gravel roads.
Trails are self guided on private Hunt Club property.
Trails marked will be 10, 15 and 25 miles.
Gates open at 10:00 A.M. Friday for Camping. It is a primitive site in an open field. There is no electric. There is water, showers and horse wash at the barn
Friday night we will have all you can eat spaghetti for $6, under six free
On Saturday there will be a Breakfast Buffet before the Ride and then a hot lunch on the Trail.
Dinner Saturday night with music starting at 8:00 P.M.

12 Jul, 2012 -- Southeastern Equestrian Trails Conference -- The Kentucky Horse Council in partnership with the Kentucky Back Country Horsemen is hosting this year's Southeastern Equestrian Trails Conference in Lexington, KY.
---Although the details are still being planned, you can look forward to the following activities while attending the conference:
--A workshop on the horse trails of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, a historic Shaker Farm & Village which has realized the benefits of working with local Back Country Horsemen for development and maintenance of trails.
--An optional "Horses and History" tour of the Lexington area, including thoroughbred farms, the Keeneland racetrack, historic landmarks and more.
--Two days of educational sessions including both basic and advanced tracks, as well as special attention to youth topics and attendees.
-----All SETC information, including registration, program details, Lexington area attractions, and sponsor recognition will be updated on the conference website, southeasternequestriantrails.com.
